About Me

I am a strategic architect of change—who bridges thirty years of IT expertise with a relentless drive for innovation, all while remaining deeply rooted in my family and the rich cultural heritage.

Early Life and Education

I was raised in Kolkata and attended Calcutta University, where I earned a degree in Science. I subsequently completed MBA in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University. To complement my leadership journey, I obtained professional certifications in Design Thinking, Project Management, and Change Management.

My Journey

The Formative Decade (1992–2002)

This period was a deliberate forge, transforming technical discipline into leadership insight.Beginning in 1992, I built my technical foundation through software development, IT service support, and academic faculty roles, shaping a diverse and deep-rooted professional expertise.

  • Engineering the Core: As a software developer, I mastered the logic of systems, building the rigorous technical discipline required to scale.

  • Synthesizing Knowledge: In faculty roles, I learned to distill the complex into the accessible—translating high-level technology into human empowerment.

  • Operational Service: Through IT support, I anchored technical expertise in the user experience, ensuring that innovation always serves a purpose.

Confederation of Indian Industry (2002–2006)

In my role at CII, I initially came on board to handle internal IT support. I quickly pivoted, channeling that technical foundation into coordinating critical IT capacity-building initiatives across Eastern India. My focus was on executing major industry events and serving as the bridge between technology stakeholders and industrial leadership to drive regional growth.

Xenitis Infotech (2006–2008)

Serving as Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management, I directed global procurement and logistics operations, focusing on vendor development and streamlining the supply chain to support large-scale hardware manufacturing. While the organization ultimately faced severe headwinds—a structural detour (wrong strategic path) for the business—it gave me invaluable experience managing an unconventional, high-velocity supply chain with electronics components sourcing from China and Taiwan.

VFS Capital (2009–2013)

In this role, I engineered the strategic outreach for the institution, focusing squarely on driving high-impact rural development. I took ownership of scaling micro-credit accessibility, securing vital corporate partnerships, and institutionalizing rigorous grievance redressal mechanisms to protect and empower underserved rural populations.

NASSCOM (2013–2022)

During my decade-long tenure, I directed ecosystem development across Eastern India, increasing regional membership from 45 to over 250 organizations. I was instrumental in extending IT infrastructure into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and collaborated with state governments to drive policy advocacy. My initiatives included the implementation of large-scale innovation programs and regional hackathons.

CodeClouds (2022–Present)

As Chief Operating Officer, I initiated a comprehensive organizational restructuring and the modernization of human resource policies. My tenure has been marked by a significant expansion of the workforce, where I oversaw the acquisition of over 200 employees. I further established CCLabs, an internal learning and development division dedicated to professional upskilling and technical excellence.

Personal Life

Based in Kolkata, I prioritize a strong commitment to family values. I live with my wife, Rita Ganguly, who manages her own business, and our son, Shreyan, an MCA student specializing in data analytics. In addition to my executive role, I serve as a strategic advisor and mentor, driving operational excellence within the global technology sector.
